Les Abromovitz is an attorney but let’s not hold that against him. He has been the author, co-author, technical editor, and ghostwriter of many retirement planning, investment, leadership, customer service, personal finance, legal, insurance, and business books for publishers such as McGraw-Hill, John Wiley & Sons, and Dearborn Trade.
Les has written numerous books and articles for investment advisers. He writes and consults frequently for NCS Regulatory Compliance. He is the author of GROWING WITHIN THE LINES: The Investment Adviser's Advertising and Marketing Compliance Guide, which was published by the National Underwriter/ALM Media. His book, The second edition of THE INVESTMENT ADVISOR'S COMPLIANCE GUIDE, was published in 2017 by the same publisher. His play, THE HOME STRETCH, won first place in the 4th Annual International Jewish Short Play Competition. Les' comedy, SEVEN BANANAS, won first place in the National One-Act Playwriting Competition sponsored by the Little Theatre of Alexandria and had its premier in 2017 at the 30 by Ninety Theatre. In addition, he has had several comedies included in festivals across the country such as the Hollywood Fringe Festival and the Shortcuts 6 Festival.
Les is also the author of a legal humor book, which was warmly received by the eight people who read it, and was the associate producer of a nationally-syndicated public television series dealing with personal finance.Les also helped to write a personal finance book for the co-host of a national public television series dealing with investing. In addition, he authored a book on long-term care insurance.
Les and his wife, Hedy, split their time between Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and Boca Raton, Florida. They are the authors
of two books dealing with customer service and quality improvement.
