WHO IS THIS GUY?
Les Abromovitz is an attorney but try not to hold that against him. He has been the author, co-author, technical editor, and ghostwriter of many retirement planning, investment, leadership, customer service, personal finance, legal, insurance, humor, and business books for publishers such as McGraw-Hill, John Wiley & Sons, Dearborn Trade, and ALM Global.
His plays have been performed in theatres across the country, as well as internationally. He is a member of the Dramatists Guild. He has won two national playwriting contests. Eleven theatres chose his plays for production or readings in 2025. Smith & Kraus has published one of his short plays and one of his monologues.
Les has written numerous books and articles for investment advisers. He has consulted on compliance issues for over two decades. He is the author of GROWING WITHIN THE LINES-The Investment Adviser's Advertising and Marketing Compliance Guide, which was published by the National Underwriter/ALM Media. The third edition of his book, THE INVESTMENT ADVISOR'S COMPLIANCE GUIDE, was published in 2023.
Les and his wife, Hedy, split their time between Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and Boca Raton, Florida. They are the authors of two books dealing with customer service and quality improvement.
