Les has written extensively about compliance issues affecting investment advisers. He also writes about insurance, legal, investment, and business topics for financial services professionals.
Les has written numerous plays that have been performed or read in festivals across the country, as well as internationally. He is a member of the Dramatists Guild. He has won two national playwriting awards. Eleven of his one-act and 10-minute comedies were read or performed in 2025. Smith & Kraus has published one of his short comedies and a monologue. In real life and when writing his plays, his sense of humor wears thin after a half hour.
Les has been the author, co-author, and ghostwriter of several business books published by John Wiley & Sons, McGraw-Hill, Dearborn Trade, ALM Global, and other publishers. And last but certainly least, he is an attorney.
